Limoges Lovely Artoria Faberge 1st Imperial
Easter Egg. This splendid gold and ruby gift intaugurated the tradition
of the Russian Czar giving his wife a Faberge' egg every Easter. This
egg was presented by Czar Alexander III to his wife Czarina Marie Feodorovana
for easter in 1885. This is the reproduction white egg that contains a
24K gold enamel Yolk and inside tha is a "surprise", gold chicken with
faux ruby eyes. What a lovely piece to add to your collection or for that
special someone, start a tradition just like Czar did. Artoria Limoges

measures 3 1/2" h by 2" & gold yolk is 2 1/2" by 1 3/4" and gold chicken
is 1". The white egg is footed and please make note the yolk does sit
